Head Coach CRAIG
NOLDER
Craig Nolder has been the Head Coach of the San Antonio Divers since forming
the club in September of 1988 when he moved to San Antonio with his wife, Linda,
and their family to work for the North East Independent School District (NEISD)
as Head Diving Coach and as an Elementary Physical Education Instructor for the
district.
Craig received his Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education from the University of Arkansas in 1976. He started his Age Group coaching career in 1972 in Arkansas while attending school at the University. From 1976 to 1979, Craig was head Coach of the men's and women's diving program at the University of Arkansas. He moved to Longview, Texas in 1979 to work for OXY Petroleum Co., and also formed the Parkeway Drillers Diving Team (1980-1988).

Texas High School Coach of the Year 1990, 92, 94, 96, 99, 2000, 2002, and
2004;
Texas Age Group Coach of the Year 1987 and 1990
USD Region VI Coach of the Year1990
AAU National JO Region VII Coach of the Year1997 and 1998
During his coaching career, Coach Nolder has coached many individual State Champions and National level divers. In addition, Coach Nolder as also been active in the following Organizations:
US Diving - Arkansas Association Chairman 1976-1979
Northwest Texas Association General Chairman 1986-1988
South Texas General Chairman 1988-present
USD Region VI and VIII Chairman 1986-1994
Texas Age Group Diving President 1985-1986 and 1994-1997
Coach Nolder is a USD Safety Certified Diving Coach, USD Program Director for Dive Safe, and an active member of the United States Professional Diving Coaches Association.
Assistant Coach ALLISON HUNTRESS
A native of San Antonio, Allison Huntress participated in the Alamo Area Aquatics Association age group diving program with coach Larry Davis from 1979 to 1985. She continued her diving career with Craig Nolder and the San Antonio Divers program, beginning in 1986 and until she enrolled at the University of Tennessee in 1990. While at Tennessee, she was a member of their collegiate diving team under the direction of David Parrington. She was a Southeastern Conference finalist and graduated from Tennessee with a B.S. in Kinesiology.
Coach Huntress actually began her coaching career in 1988 while working with a beginning diving program at the San Antonio Country Club. Coach Huntress gained additional coaching experience in college when, as an undergraduate student, she coached both age group and adult divers for the University of Tennessee Continuing Education Program. Since 1995, she has assisted Craig Nolder with the San Antonio Divers program, in which she has been responsible for working with both age group and junior national level divers throughout the year.
