Athletes Responsibilities

All divers are expected to: Attend all scheduled practices.  Maintain a positive attitude during practice and competition.  Come to practice every time with the attitude to make this practice the best ever.  Stay focused in practice and attempt to make every dive the best you have ever done.  Listen, pay attention and try to make all corrections.  Treat others with courtesy and respect and be civil to all team mates.

During Practice - Our intent is to create a focused training environment in order to get the most out of every athlete.  Distractions must be minimized during this time.

Therefore:

Parents, friends and visitors are required to stay off the pool deck.

Athletes may not use cell phones or I-Pods during practice.

bullet

Athletes may only bring sports drinks or water to a workout.

bullet

No food, gum and candy on the pool deck.

bullet

Athletes are expected to wear shorts and T-shirt during dry-land workouts.

bullet

Athletic shoes are required for all running and weight room activities.

bullet

Inappropriate clothing or no shoes will result in removal from a training session.

bullet

No excessive talking during dry-land workouts.

bullet

Staying focused during springboard workout and completing the assigned workout.

Travel Code of Conduct

When traveling with the team or parents,  all team members will adhere to the code of conduct set by the coaches for that meet.  The coaching staff and /or the chaperone is responsible for enforcing the code and will have the authority to impose penalties for infractions of the code.  These penalties may include, but are not limited to, a phone call to the parents, being scratched from an event or the meet, to being sent home immediately.  All of these policies are adopted to preserve the quality and safety of our team.  Any violation of these guidelines will be grounds for immediate dismissal from the meet and possibly the team.

All misconduct will be reported to the athlete's parents.

 1.  You must attend all team meetings, warm-ups, practices, and events.  Please be on time....the team will be waiting     on you.

2.  A curfew will be set for all travel.  Everyone will abide by the curfew, even if you are already through competing.  All divers will be in their own rooms and quiet after curfew.

3.  All city and state laws will be observed.  (Drinking and Drugs will not be tolerated)

4.  Be courteous to your roommates and other hotel guests.
